It was love at first sight. Two freshmen at Concordia University Ann Arbor, the two quickly became one of my favorite couples on campus. They were such a joy to be around. Not even a year into their beautiful relationship, Josh proposed (he had me on-call to photograph their excitement just minutes afterwards). Exactly two years later, they became man and wife.
Josh and Mary's morning wedding was at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, in Medina, Ohio, and their reception nearby, at Rustic Hills Country Club. The dancing ended in time for us to take a few extra photos and then send them on their way to a Cleveland Indians' game (still dressed in their fancy wedding-day attire).
Just before the ceremony, Josh and Mary exchanged love letters and prayed together — without breaking tradition. It was a beautiful moment.

Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their personalities and love for each other, and also served as a wonderful reminder of Christ's love for us all. Thank you for sharing your special day with me, Mary and Josh!
